When it comes to my family sessions, I love mixing lifestyle and documentary vibes to get those perfect shots. Sessions are made to capture authentic, natural moments during our time together. Think of this as a regular day, but with a photographer tagging along. While I'll offer a little guidance here and there, the focus is on you just relaxing and being yourselves. I'll gently guide you into natural situations, and we'll see what unfolds. We'll focus on your daily routines and genuine interactions at home. I'll be there to document all the perfectly imperfect details that make your life so special. Either way, there's no need to apologize for kids who don't want to cooperate or sit still— As a mom of two boys, I'm well-acquainted with the unpredictable energy of young kids. We will just embrace the chaos...the best moments happen in between. These sessions emphasize candid, documentary-style images in a fun & relaxed atmosphere.
My goal is to tell the story of your family with movement-based games, silly interactions, and your everyday routine. This will keep sessions fun & engaging for everyone involved, especially young children. It's those real, unposed interactions that we will cherish most. While I love the candid, documentary-style photos, we would also set aside time for some traditional, posed portraits, including a few where we're looking directly at the camera. This will give us a nice variety in our final gallery.

Full Family Session
Whether it is baby number one or number four, in-home newborn sessions are pure magic. We’ll document it all—from feedings and snuggles to sweet moments with the whole family. Life is blurry, sleep-deprived haze with a newborn, so let’s freeze these special moments so they last forever.
Mini Family Session
Family sessions focus on storytelling and capturing the genuine, unposed moments as your family goes about their typical day. While the primary goal is documentary-style photography, I also dedicate time to gently guided lifestyle portraits, blending candid interactions with more traditional family poses.

You can consider our session a special outing with a friend, so be ready to have fun! I'll use a relaxed and candid approach to our session, filled with fun, games, and jokes, so you can enjoy the experience and forget the camera is even there.
Step 4
delivering photos
Your photos will be delivered in 14 business days via a private online gallery that can be easily shared with friends and family. From there, you can order professional-quality prints directly through me, sourced from my trusted labs based in California, Texas & Minnesota.
